Garden Cress (Lepidium Sativum) is a tasty and popular green that is very easy to grow, nutritious and is often added to salads and sandwiches or used as a garnish. It is a relative of mustard and cabbage, and has a distinctly spicy, peppery, pungent flavor. Seed packet contains 2 G (about 850 seeds).
A carefully selected variety that can easily be grown indoors in your kitchen or outdoors in the garden. Cress also brings a bit of hot and spicy to stir-fries and other cooked dishes. Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.
Best in cool weather or indoors; bolts quickly in hot weather. Sow in rich, well-drained soil. Harvest when plants are young and tender for best flavor, about 7 to 10 days after germination.
