Mexican Sunflower

This sunflower-like annual has radiant scarlet-orange flowers that attract a lot of attention! It is favored by hummingbirds, bumblebees, and butterflies – especially monarchs! Individual single daisy-like flower can grow as wide as 3.5″ on bushy plants 5′-7′ in height.

Start indoors under lights 5 to 6 weeks before transplanting out after all danger of frost has passed. Select a sunny location with rich soil. Prefers drier conditions when mature.
