Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Prepare the soil by lightly raking or tilling the soil up to an inch deep. Broadcast the seeds as evenly as possible. Mixing seed with sand prior to scattering can help. Ensure good soil to seed contact by walking or lightly rolling over the area.
