Pak Choi is also known as Bok Choi or Chinese cabbage and is grown for both its stalks and leaves. This cruciferous vegetable has a very mild, sweet flavor that shines in Asian dishes and stir-fries.
Pak choi can be grown in spring or fall. Start plants indoors under light or sow directly into the garden. Plant in fertile, well-draining soil and keep consistently moist. Harvest the entire head at once or individual leaves from the outside for a prolonged harvest.
