Growing Home

Growing Home’s mission is to guide children and their families on the path to a brighter future. They focus on the North Metro Denver community and work together so that all children and their families have a place to call home, food on the table, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

They offer a network of services that support people experiencing immediate and long-term barriers to stability and success. They have three program areas: Strengthening Families program houses a food pantry, housing and utility assistance case management, collaborative coaching program, and resource navigation. Nurturing Children program provides parents invaluable tools to ensure that their children meet appropriate developmental milestones and receive the services they need to thrive. The Connecting Community program teaches participants to advocate for community-wide changes on their own behalf. Also, it houses a community garden, which the community members take care of and, in large part, supplies the food pantry. The food pantry is the only pantry in town that is open five days a week and feeds anywhere between 430 and 1000 families each month.
