RSCL is a public library offering programs and services at no cost to the community. In 2021 they stared The Giving Garden where volunteers grow fruits and vegetables at the library for anyone to enjoy and eat. Their Fridge in the Foyer program allows community members to donate extra produce. Their new seed library will also offer gardening and cooking classes.
Seed libraries provide important physical and informational resources so that members of the community can learn and practice in growing their own food.
