Nature’s Edge Therapy Center’s mission is to provide patient care regardless of their financial status. Our patients receive therapy utilizing animal assisted, hippotherapy (the horse) and horticulture therapy on a 65 acre ranch. We are also a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and have a small staff and a dedicated group of volunteers.
Nature's Edge Therapy Center utilizes horticulture therapy to provide a wide array of sensory experiences including visual, tactile, and olfactory inputs. Their butterfly garden, herb garden, flower beds and vegetable garden provide perfect places for these experiences. Patients participate in planting, maintaining, observing and harvesting crops and produce is distributed amongst the community.
