The Friends of the Sarlin Community Library supports special projects of the Sarlin Library in Liberty, SC (which is part of the Pickens County Library System). The Sarlin Library hosts a seed library.
The Sarlin Library is located in a rural and underserved part of the county. There are few easily accessible sources for fresh vegetables. One of the goals of the seed library project is to promote good nutrition by encouraging our community to grow some of their own food.
