Marjoram (Origanum majorana) is a tender perennial herb with a delicate pine and citrus flavor. Marjoram plants are somewhat cold-sensitive and start best inside. Grows well in pots and indoors so that you can always have fresh marjoram on hand. Seed packet contains 100 MG (about 550 seeds).

This herb is super easy to grow and has many benefits. It is known for its aromatherapeutic, culinary, and medicinal benefits. Marjoram is a member of the mint family and is popular for cooking uses including: soups, roasted meats, sauteed vegetables, and marinades. Marjorams tea leaves are also used for their anti-inflammatory, digestive, and heart health benefits.

Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before transplanting outside. Barely cover seeds as light is needed for germination. Once seedling grows a few inches, pinch back growth tip to promote branching. Transplant into well-drained soil. Container-grown marjoram can be brought indoors to enjoy during winter months.

Days to germination: 7-15
Planting depth: 1/8"
Plant Spacing: 12"
Soil Temperature: 65-70 F
Light Requirements: Full Sun
