Southport United Methodist Church has several active gardeners that form a ministry called the Harvest Table. Produce is given away for free to the community through a no questions asked stand that is set up near the church. Produce is grown in several onsite gardens as well as in volunteers home gardens. They also provide produce to a local food pantry, Hunger Inc.
