Albany, GA
Casa de Yemaya Cultural Center - A non-profit organization and educational center that promotes the understanding of African based and indigenous religions, traditions and cultural practices. With just under an acre of land, Casa de Yemaya uses their resources for the production of fresh produce in their community. The produce is distributed to the families that work the garden and on Fridays the surplus is bagged and given away.

Columbus, GA

Take The City - equips and trains local churches on how to make a difference in their communities. In addition, they have a community garden maintained by neighbors who work together to plant, upkeep and harvest vegetables.

Folkston, GA

Recovery Farm For Veterans - is a nonprofit teaching farm and food bank, as well as a Homestead following Permaculture Principles. They partner with Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia for our food bank, and also produce fruits, veggies and herbs to supplement the food bank program.
