Also known as Tree Mallow. Annual with hibiscus-like flowers in shades of white, pink, rose, and red on plants up to 48 inches tall. Makes an excellent, long lasting cut flower. Easy to grow, preferring full sun and moist conditions.
Seed packet contains 1 G (about 170 seeds). Start rose mallow seeds indoors for early blooms - Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting, or direct sow after all danger of frost has passed. Keep moist until seedlings emerge. If transplanting, thin and begin hardening off after plant reaches 4". Choose a sunny location with well-draining, fertile soil.
