Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a popular shrub-like perennial grown for its flavorful leaves. This plant grows 2-3' tall. Grows well in pots and indoors so that you can always have fresh oregano on hand. 

This herb is super easy to grow and has many benefits. Start indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Barely cover seed as it needs light to germinate. Transplant into well drained soil. In following years, remove old wood at end of winter. Replace plants every 5 years.
