Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a popular shrub-like perennial grown for its flavorful leaves. This plant grows 2-3' tall. Grows well in pots and indoors so that you can always have fresh oregano on hand. Seed packet contains 100 MG (about 1000 seeds).

This herb is super easy to grow and has many benefits. Leaves can be used fresh or dried in Italian, Spanish, and Mexican dishes.  Oregano is an essential ingredient for making pizza or really any Italian dish. Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.

Start indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Barely cover seed as it needs light to germinate. Transplant into well drained soil. In following years, remove old wood at end of winter. Replace plants every 5 years.

Days to germination: 7-14
Planting depth: 1/8"
Plant Spacing: 15"
Soil Temperature: 65-70 F
Light Requirements: Full Sun
