Also known as Lanceleaf Tickseed, Coreopsis lanceolata is a US native perennial wildflower that grows 12-18 inches tall. The vibrant yellow blossoms bloom in late summer and make a beautiful cut flower. Attractive to birds and pollinators, especially goldfinches. Seed packet contains 750 MG (about 350 seeds).

Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds love these varieties and will likely pay you many visits. Great way to support your local pollinators. Start coreopsis seeds indoors for early blooms - Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors

Sow in late fall to allow seeds to overwinter or cold stratify for 2-4 weeks before planting in spring. Press seeds into soil rather than burying (needs light to germinate) and keep moist until germination. Well-established plants prefer dry soil and may droop in overly moist or rich soils.

Days to germination: 14-28
Planting depth: 0
Plant Spacing: 18"
Soil Temperature: 65-70° F
Light Requirements: Full Sun
