Colorful mix of white, rose, and red flowers dwarf flowers that make an excellent ground cover. Also known as Annual vinca or Madagascar periwinkle. Tender perennial that will overwinter in warmer climates. Minimum of 400mg per packet (about 240 seeds).
Start Periwinkle seeds indoors for early blooms - Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.
Sow indoors 10-12 weeks prior to the last frost free date. Cover seeds 1/4-1/2" deep as darkness is necessary for germination and provide supplemental heat. Transplant outdoors after all danger of frost is passed with care not to disturb the roots.
