Moss verbena (Verbena tenuisecta) is a drought-resistant plant with fern-like foliage and clusters of blooms that attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. An excellent choice for poor soils or rocky terrain. This tender plant is grown as a perennial in frost-free zones or an annual in cooler climates. Seed packet contains 500 MG (about 650 seeds).

This easy to grow variety is useful for edging borders, groundcover, filling in flower beds, and in pollinator gardens. Start verbena seeds indoors for early blooms - Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors

Sow directly in late fall by lightly raking into the soil. Otherwise, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Water seedlings until established, taking care not to overwater. Mature plants prefer drier soil conditions.

Days to germination: 20-40
Planting depth: 1/16"
Plant Spacing: 12"
Soil Temperature: 70-75° F
