Red Russian Kale (Brassica oleracea) has oak-like leaves that are green with purple stems and veins. This kale is gorgeous, tender, and delicious. Flavor improves and purple color deepens after first frost. Seed packet contains 750 MG (about 245 seeds).

Kale is incredibly nutritious and makes wonderful fresh salads. It is also tasty simmered in soups and stews, or added to stir fries, smoothies, sauteed and more. Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.
