This variety of Squash is a highly prolific vining winter squash. Its 5-6" fruits have tender yellow-orange flesh that is excellent for baking, roasting, or stuffing. The hard green skin provides protection for long-term storage.
Seed packet contains 5g (about 58 seeds). Start Squash seeds indoors for early blooms - Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.
Start indoors 3-4 weeks before last frost, with 2-3 seeds per plug. Alternatively, sow directly in hills outside after danger of frost is past. Plant in fertile, well-draining soil. Thin to the strongest two vines per hill.
