Utah Celery (Apium graveolens) is a crisp, string-free celery that grows large light green bunches with 12" stalks. Plant grows 24-30" tall. Harvest individual stalks or wait for the entire head to mature. This high-quality string-free variety is a favorite of commercial growers, and its compact habit makes it perfect for small spaces! Standard seed packet contains 500 mg (about 400 seeds). Jumbo packet contains 3 g (about 2,100 seeds).

Utah celery has a light and refreshing flavor that is perfect when eaten raw, juiced, or makes an excellent addition to soups and stocks. Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.

Sow indoors 8-10 weeks before planting out. Seeds need light to germinate; press seeds into soil and keep moist until established. Transplant after last frost date. Plants need shade if grown in hot conditions.
