Heshiko Bunching Onion (Allium fistulosum) is a popular Japanese green onion that grows 12-14" tall with mild flavored leaves and white flesh. Delicious addition to stir-fries, soups, and salads. Non-bulbing and hardy in cold weather. Seed packet contains 500 MG (about 250 seeds).

Carefully selected variety that can easily be grown indoors in your kitchen or outdoors in the garden. Heshiko Bunching Japanese Onions are annual onions that can be grown in Spring and Fall. Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors. 

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before frost date, or sow directly outside when soil can be worked. Keep seeds and seedlings moist but not wet. Transplant outdoors when seedlings are 4-6" tall. Pick a sunny spot with fertile soil that drains well.
