Also known as Rampicante, this delightful summer squash has a unique long neck and bulbous end. Sweeter than most other summer squash or zucchinis. Can be left to mature on the plant for a butternut type of winter squash. Grows on a vining plant rather than a bush. Minimum of 5 g per packet (about 20 seeds).

On its own, fresh summer squash is delicious sauteed in butter with a little garlic. But it is also a wonderful addition to Italian lasagna, Asian stir fries, Middle Eastern curry, sweet breads, and even pancakes. So many ways to use this versatile vegetable.
