Mexican Hat (Ratibida columnifera) is a fun perennial wildflower. Its distinctive tall cone-shaped center surrounded by colorful petals resemble a traditional sombrero. This versatile flower can be grown outdoors in garden beds and containers or throw-and-grow style in wildflower meadows. Blooming throughout summer and into early fall, Mexican Hat is a favorite with pollinators.

Mexican Hat seeds benefit from cold stratification before planting. Once they germinate, this variety thrives in well-draining soil and full sun.

Add this eye-catching flower to your outdoor space and enjoy its colorful blooms throughout the growing season!
