Cylindra Beet (Beta Vulgaris) is an heirloom from Denmark grows long, cylindrical roots, making it a perfect space-saving beet. Slices beautifully, is never woody, and has exceptionally sweet greens. Seed packet contains 1.5 G (about 90 seeds).
Whether eaten raw, roasted with goat cheese, in a salad, or pickled, the earthy goodness of beets is unmistakably delicious.
