A beloved culinary herb with a distinct, anise-like flavor. This perennial plant forms clumps of narrow, glossy green leaves on upright stems. Tarragon thrives in poor soils and is relatively low-maintenance once established.
Seed packet contains 250mg (about 1300 seeds). Start Tarragon seeds indoors for early blooms - Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Press seeds into soil firmly and lightly cover. Sow 6-10 seeds per pot in moist, rich potting soil. Keep seeds evenly moist until germination. Be patient; germination times of tarragon can vary widely.
