This variety of Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is a perennial herb that reaches 3-5 feet tall, with vanilla-scented clusters of flowers that are highly attractive to pollinators. Valerian is a perennial plant in the honeysuckle family and is most well known for the medicinal properties of its roots.
