Ringmaster Onion
Ringmaster Onion
White long-day onion produces firm, sweet bulbs. Large bulbs make crisp rings perfect for use in cooking, especially onion rings. Minimum of 500 mg per packet (about 150 seeds).
Onions are a delicious ingredient in a variety of dishes. They are great in salads, sandwiches, and fresh salsas. Large, premium seed packets give instructions on how to grow and when to plant outdoors.
Start inside 10-12 weeks before last frost date. Seedlings can tolerate light frost and can be transplanted a few weeks before last frost date. Plant in rich soil and keep well-watered. Harvest at any stage but for storage, pick the onions when the tops fall over and cure the onions for a few weeks in a dry airy location out of direct sunlight.
