Grow your own White Sage plants with high-quality White Sage seeds. White Sage (Salvia Apiana) is a traditional Native American incense herb from California. This bushy plant produces strongly aromatic silvery leaves and blue flowering spikes. Leaves may be dried to use for smudging and cleansing rituals. White Sage attracts important pollinators, and is actually one of the best plants for honey production.
*White sage seeds benefit from scarification for increased germination.
White Sage naturally has a low germination rate. Start indoors in individual containers of 15-20 seeds each, keep soil moist under direct light, thin to one or two plants after germination. Transplant outdoors after soil has warmed and all danger of frost has passed.
